If you would rather be sipping on margaritas and savoring small plates than trick-or-treating, El Meson is the place to be this Halloween.

“Encapsulating a number of holidays and remembrances, we wanted to share some of our favorite Latin drinks and dishes this Hallow Tide season,” Bill Castro, partner/owner of El Meson, said in a news release. “Dining is a very important part of culture, and we’re excited to be able to share it with our friends and neighbors here in Dayton.”

Guests will be treated to a complimentary tapas plate with their first purchase of tequila or margarita during dinner hours, 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

El Meson will wrap up the festivities on Saturday, Nov. 2 with a special Day of the Dead spirits pairing that includes a margarita, three varieties of tequila, and three tacos.

“We’ll also be offering complementary Day of the Dead face painting at the November 2 event,” Castro said. “This is a celebration of the memories of those who’ve gone on and a chance to cherish the time of those who are still here with us.”
